Tyrell Osei

Big Board: Dave #4 · Ricky #3

71 Overall Dave 71 · Ricky 72

*Wingspan projected until measured at the combine.

Overview

Osei is the connective tissue every good team needs — he makes the extra pass, moves without the ball, defends multiple spots, and never breaks a possession. His feel for the game is a level ahead of his physical tools, which is usually a trait that ages well.

The question is whether he'll ever create enough offense to be more than a role player. He isn't a shot-maker off the dribble yet, and the jumper is a work in progress. If it comes, he's a starter; if not, he's a valuable connector off the bench.

Pros

  • Basketball IQ. Makes the right read a beat early on both ends. Rarely out of position, rarely forces a bad possession.
  • Positional versatility. Guards three positions and slots into any lineup without needing touches.

Development Areas

  • Shot creation. Can't reliably get his own bucket against a set defense. Offense is mostly connective, not creative.
  • Jumper. Mechanics and consistency need work before defenses respect him off the catch.
