Christian Collins

2027 NBA Mock Draft v. 1.0 with @CBSSports Adam Finkelstein

Sam loves how hard Collins plays but doesn't see an offensive skill set that works in today's NBA. Adam, whose outlet ranked him 10th, describes a versatile, athletic wing who covers ground. Adam says his skill growth showed more in the high school season than in a rough EYBL run. For Adam, the question is the feel to fold those skills into a team concept, and he puts Collins among last class's high-risk, high-reward bets.

Pitches Collins as a modern face-up power forward who attacks off the bounce, reads the floor from the elbow and finishes over smaller defenders; the narrator says he's higher on him than most. Highlights his defensive motor, rotations and rebounding, and tells viewers to remember the name when the season tips.

Describes Collins as 6'8 with a 7-foot-plus wingspan, very fluid and mobile, a ready defender who flies around and crashes both glasses with a great motor — possibly the class's best perimeter defender. Offense leans on athleticism more than shot creation or quick decisions, and he may stay more than one year.
